Tencent Music Nonprofit Program
TME launched the Tencent Music Nonprofit Program in Beijing on June 21, 2018. The program aims to deliver love and energy through music and demonstrate the social value of music. There are three key focus areas for the Tencent Music Nonprofit Program: promoting cultural heritage, music education, and encouraging care and love through music.

Music Education – Music Garden Space
In August 2018, TME teamed up with the Chen Yidan Foundation to establish Music Garden Space. Music Garden Space is an initiative aimed at providing a range of music education to children of ethnic minorities and from remote regions while also offering music training to local teachers in these regions. TME and the Chen Yidan Foundation also invite musicians, volunteers, and corporations to attend the various activities of Music Garden Space to jointly promote ethnic culture and heritage, and to create other initiatives with a similar focus.

Promoting Cultural Heritage – New Ethnomusicology Project
Following the successful third Musicme Program in 2017 and to support musicians in China, TME partnered with the China Association of Performing Arts again in August 2018 to launch the New Ethnomusicology Project. Under this project, TME will produce a series of ethnic music digital albums on a pro-bono basis. The New Ethnomusicology Project brings together musicians across China to share original music reflecting diverse backgrounds and cultures of ethnic minorities.
